the staff were lovely and helpful. the location allowed easy walking distance to attractions, eateries, and pubs. the room was comfortable and clean, and the price was good. i would definitely recommend this hotel.
the room was very small, even as a superior double. it felt cramped and unsuitable for a longer stay than one night.

the breakfast offered a wide selection of foods with good quality. the bar area included a snug room (a cozy, small area), which was very nice. it provides a relaxing space for drinks.

The hotel kept our bags on the last day. It was a massive plus. there are public areas, but accessing the elevators for upper floors requires a bit of a trek. no help with luggage was offered.

the hotel is very close to arthur's seat and downtown. i walked into the city centre easily from there, but it is not in the middle of town. its position offers a balance of accessibility and quiet.

I found the staff friendly. They helped organize an early morning taxi to the airport. the location suited me well for events at the pleasance. It was just a short walk. the checkin was quick, and the room had a good size with a nice view.
The pillows were either hard as rocks or lumpy, and i barely slept! i asked for new ones, and they were the same. This made the night less enjoyable.
